Global Launch of Campaign to Inspire International Citizens Movement

PeaceJam Foundation is an international global citizen's movement led by thirteen Nobel Peace Laureates mentoring youth to tackle humanity’s toughest issues. Its mission is to create young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities and the world through the inspiration of Nobel Laureates who pass on their spirit, skills and wisdom.

PeaceJam Foundation held a Press Conference Announcing Global Launch of Campaign to Inspire International Citizens Movement with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Peace Laureate and One Billion Acts of Peace board member; Dawn Engle, co-founder and executive director of PeaceJam Foundation; Ivan Suvanjieff, co-founder and President of PeaceJam Foundation; Chade-Meng Tan, official One Billion Acts of Peace spokesperson, Google pioneer, award-winning engineer, New York Times bestselling author, thought leader, philanthropist; Ana Dodson, youth ambassador for PeaceJam and the One Billion Acts of Peace campaign and founder of Peruvian Hearts, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young women through education and mentorship to become leaders within their communities.

Archbishop and 1984 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Desmond Tutu yesterday celebrated the world premiere showing of the PeaceJam Foundation’s documentary film "Children of the Light" at the Monte Carlo Television Festival hosted by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Narrated by Tutu’s daughter, Naomi Tutu, "Children of the Light" follows the life story of the South African social rights activist and retired Anglican bishop who rose to worldwide recognition during the 1980s as an opponent of apartheid.
