“Fashioning for Hope” was an eleven-day initiative launched to raise funds for two active women's associations in the area of Byblos, Lebanon dedicated to the field of furthering women’s education in the region: the Byblos branch of the Young Women's Christian Association YWCA and the Institute of Management & Services IMS at Maad.
From Thursday March 1st to Sunday March 11th, 2012, leather handbags and accessories by Miss é were sold at a substantial discount. All proceeds from the sale were divided between the two organizations.
Wednesday’s cocktail reception and formal check presentation were held at Miss é boutique in Byblos, accompanied by harp musical background performed by International Harpist/ Songwriter Julia Cunningham.
The executive leaders of both organizations Mrs Juliana Najem from IMS and Mrs Elham Nassar from YWCA-Byblos, journalists and guests were present along with Mrs. Alice Eddé CEO of Miss é who ended with her words: We were thrilled so many people came together to show their support for these wonderful organizations.
