Wine and yoga, it’s surprising !
You don’t have to have a crazy lifestyle or big budget to afford virtual fitness training. Gyms might be starting to open back up across the world, but that doesn’t mean people are ready to dive back into them yet. If exercising in an enclosed space where people sweat, breathe hard, and share equipment with strangers, I purpose to you this week, to discover with Kirstie Nelson, a yoga teacher located in Canada, a very unique way to practice yoga, with people coming from all over the world and online, the Vino Yoga !
Mixing beer, wine or cocktails with activities such as yoga, running, hiking, Zumba or spin class makes it more Instagram-friendly, of course, but experts say it also helps make the experience less intimidating.. Sure, people have been pairing beer with bowling, skiing with schnapps for generations, elsewhere, there are brunch runs, and even wine marathons (in France), but the latest iteration of happy hour, wine yoga feels like the bar has been raised, quite literally, on working out. In fact, fitness with an alcohol chaser is definitely flourishing, attracting the fit, the social, and the curious !
