The Soccerex European Forum returns to Manchester on 30-31 March. The event will take place at Manchester Central, in conjunction with hosts Marketing Manchester, and will bring together senior club representatives from across Europe with leading agencies, suppliers and media for two days of unparalleled networking opportunities. The agenda this year will address issues such as Financial Fair Play, Club’s differing commercial challenges, digital fan interaction and sponsorship models and will feature speakers such as Hristo Stoichkov, Oliver Bierhoff, Ian Ayre, Alan Curbishley, Patrick Vieira, Denis Law and Bryan Robson and brands such as HSBC, adidas, Standard Chartered, Nike and Facebook.
In 2010, over 200 club representatives attended the Forum and the European Club Association (ECA) general assembly was held in conjunction with the event. This year another large club attendance is expected with all English Premier League and Championship clubs already confirmed to join the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Hamburg, Celtic, Ajax, Fiorentina, Boca Juniors and Botafogo. In addition, the Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) is holding their AGM at the event ensuring the presence of all Europe’s major leagues.
