Après Hong Kong, Marrakech, Buenos Aires et Mexico City, la Formule E est arrivé en Europe avec le 2e e-Prix de Monaco. Qui a pris l'avantage sur Sébastien Buemi et Lucas Di Grassi, les deux pilotes qui dominent le championnat depuis la saison dernière?
La Formule E est le premier championnat du monde de voiture électrique monoplace. Chaque manche se tient obligatoirement la même journée, dès les essais libre à 8h du matin jusqu'à la course vers 16h.
Les voitures pèsent aux alentours des 880 kg, avec 320 kg de batterie. Elles ont une puissance maximale de 200 kw, équivalent à 270 chevaux. En mode économie d'énergie elles ont 170 kw, soit environ 228 chevaux. Elles sont limitées à 225 km/h et les pilotes doivent obligatoirement changer de voiture en course.
