Chanson à la une - I will survive, par Gloria Gaynor

Incalculables les reprises de cette chanson, autant au cinéma que par les chanteuses et chanteurs internationaux, comme l'exemple de l'adaptation française intitulée: "Je survivrai" signée par Vline Buggy et Claude Carrère, interprétée en 1979 par Régine, et qui restera numéro 1 du top 50 pendant 11 semaines! Gloria Gaynor elle-même enregistrera plusieurs versions de ce tube-mythe. Pour l'anecdote, les producteurs de l'artiste n'avaient pas flairé le succès, puisque l'édition du premier 45 Tours "I will survive" se grave en face B du vinyle, un collector depuis, puisque lors de la réédition, l'inversion de l'ordre des faces s'applique par la maison de disques, s'inclinant sur le choix imposé par les programmateurs des radios, suivi par le public.
Gloria Gaynor actuellement s'investit dans un projet caritatif de protection et de réhabilitation des filles-mères aux États-Unis. Elle publiera très bientôt un CD de titres remixés par de jeunes et talentueux DJ's. En attendant, la prochaine date de concert pour applaudir la diva est le 27 octobre à Bratislava en Slovaquie.
